Jason Rodriguez is the Complex Banquet Chef at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. He is responsible for overseeing day to day hot banquet culinary operations, purchasing and presentation for the property that features over 330,000 square feet of meeting space. He oversees a staff 24, including two banquet chefs and four supervisors. Jason most recently served as Swan Banquet Chef assisting with staff training and menu execution after an extensive kitchen remodeling to further excel our culinary standards at the Swan Hotel. Jason has held many other positions on property including Restaurant Chef of Garden Grove, Il Mulino Sous Chef as well as various other positions at Todd English’s bluezoo, Kimonos and all of the casual outlets. In 2010, he continued broadening his culinary skillset by doing a “stage” in the 1-Michelin star restaurant WD~50 in New York City.
Jason also earned a bachelor of science in hotel and restaurant management from the University of Central Florida Rosen School of Hospitality Management. In addition he also holds a Food Safety Manager certification.
