Walt Disney World Dolphin Chef de Cuisine Richard West, born and raised in southeast Arkansas. He attended University of Arkansas at Little Rock as he began his career in food service with Chef Patrick Dyer, former instructor Le Cordon Bleu Paris. He has held Executive Chef positions at Café St. Moritz and Conway Country Club. He also owned a restaurant and catering service for five years before relocating to Florida in January 2011. He joined the Walt Disney World team in March 2011 and has held various positions throughout the hotel including, Jr.Sous Chef & Dolphin Banquet Chef before retaining his current position as WDW Chef de Cuisine. He's won awards for his one of a kind Mac & Cheese creations in the 2015 O-Town MacDown winning first place and “Wild Card" winner in the 2016 O-Town MacDown.
